The daughter of the applicant, driving a Honda Fit, was entering the road at a speed of 40 km/h when she was hit by a Lexus SUV driven by an 18-year-old girl. The traffic police officers who arrived at the scene did not call an ambulance, even though the victim had head injuries and severe bleeding. Relatives, who arrived 2.5 hours later, called an ambulance, and the victim was urgently hospitalized. She currently requires serious treatment under medical supervision.
The mother of the victim claims that the traffic police officers and relatives of the second participant pressured her daughter, convincing her not to report the incident.
Preliminary data indicates that there were no skid marks from the Lexus. There are cameras installed in this area as part of the "Safe City" program, but the police operations center reported that they were not functioning at the time of the accident. The relatives of the victim believe this is an attempt to conceal a serious violation of traffic rules.Atambaev also noted that the sister of the second participant is the akim of the Alamudun district, and their father is a deputy of the Bishkek City Council.
