The working group responsible for monitoring the activities of the municipal enterprise "Bishkek Agency of Funeral Services" conducted an inspection of several cemeteries in the capital. This was reported by the Bishkek City Hall.
The commission included the chairperson, Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva, as well as her deputy, the secretary, and deputies of the Bishkek City Council Talaybek Daiyrbekov and Zhanibek Asanbekov.
The first site of the inspection was the cemetery in the Southwest, which has been closed for burials since January 1, 2021, by the decision of the State Inspectorate for Environmental and Technical Safety, the Central State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Bishkek, and the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek Main Architecture".
During the inspection, the commission identified numerous deficiencies related to the maintenance of the territory, accounting for burials, and organization of work. The municipal enterprise was instructed to conduct a complete inventory of burial sites and develop proposals for bringing the territory in line with established standards.
The next site of the inspection was the cemetery near the village of Orto-Sai, which was transferred to the city's management within the framework of the ADB, as well as the Muslim cemetery in the residential area "Kok-Zhar". The municipal enterprise "BARU" was tasked with ensuring proper control over the use of land plots, improving infrastructure and accessibility of the territories, as well as adhering to maintenance regulations.
The inspection aims to comprehensively assess the activities of the municipal enterprise, monitor compliance with legislation, improve service quality, and evaluate the effectiveness of resource and municipal property use.
