The first inspection focused on the Southwest cemetery. Since January 1, 2021, this cemetery has been closed for burials based on documents issued by the State Inspectorate for Environmental and Technical Safety, the Central State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Bishkek, and the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek Main Architecture".
During the inspection of the area, the commission identified a number of violations related to the maintenance of the cemetery, the accounting of burials, and the organization of economic activities. The municipal enterprise was tasked with conducting a complete inventory of burial sites and developing proposals to improve the condition of the area in accordance with established standards.
The next point of inspection was the cemetery located near the village of Orto-Sai, which was transferred to the city's jurisdiction as part of the administrative-territorial reform. The commission also visited the Muslim cemetery in the residential area of Kok-Zhar. The Municipal Enterprise "BARU" was instructed to establish control over the use of land plots, improve the state of infrastructure, accessibility, and compliance with the rules for maintaining the territories.
The purpose of the inspection activities is to ensure an objective analysis of the work of the municipal enterprise, compliance with legal standards, improvement of the quality of services provided, and assessment of the effectiveness of resource use and municipal property, as reported by the Bishkek city hall.
It should be noted that the work of the commission for inspecting the city's cemeteries will continue.
