The main street in the city of Osh is being widened — dozens of houses and buildings will be demolished

Residents of Alymbek-Datka Street [formerly Lenin] in the city of Osh will be relocated to the Ene-Sai residential area.

According to the municipality, on February 5, the city administration, along with the heads of relevant institutions and organizations, visited Alymbek-Datka Street (municipal territorial management "Sulaiman-Too") — from Mamazhan Street.

They were instructed to identify and dismantle illegal structures and buildings along the road that hinder the street's expansion. They were also tasked with establishing facts of illegal use of some residential houses as commercial points and to carry out demolition work by the relevant services.

The city administration informed that due to the street expansion works, some homeowners will be relocated to the Ene-Sai residential area.



As reported by Turmush, the head of the Osh city municipal property management, Jakshylyk Toktogon uulu, stated that residents of 32 houses on Alymbek-Datka Street will be relocated to the Ene-Sai residential area.

“Thirty-two houses will be relocated from Alymbek-Datka Street, for which the Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a conclusion. We are talking about houses located on Alymbek-Datka Street on the side of the cliff — below the 'Teshik-Tash' market. For now, we plan to relocate 32 houses for which there is a conclusion from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Relocation will begin after the houses in the Ene-Sai residential area are ready. Currently, demolition work has not yet started. Explanatory and warning activities are being conducted at this time,” he said.
