The legality of the gas station on Alymbek Datka Street in Osh will be re-analyzed. This was reported by the press service of the city administration of Osh.

It is reported that in connection with this, representatives of the city administration and relevant services conducted an inspection on Alymbek Datka Street, which is part of the municipal territorial administration of Sulayman-Too.

During the inspection, the mayor of the city, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, emphasized that the gas station located near the bus station poses a danger to residents. He instructed the relevant services to reassess its location and to improve and green the adjacent area as soon as possible.

The city administration added that such measures are aimed at improving the urban environment, creating comfortable conditions for citizens, and ensuring their safety.

It is worth noting that in 2025, two gas stations on I. Monueva Street, one on A. Shakirov Street, and another on N. Isanova Street were recognized as illegal and dismantled.

Earlier, on January 29, 2025, the Osh city administration announced the start of dismantling works for the gas stations "MPA" and "Red Petroleum" at the intersection of Y. Monueva and A. Shakirov Streets. At that time, the "Red Petroleum" station continued to operate, while the station on Y. Monueva Street had already been shut down, but dismantling had not yet begun.
The demolition of the roof at the "MPA" station has already started. Mayor Toktorbaev noted in his statement on January 27, 2025, that during the construction of the new transport interchange, gas stations may need to be relocated due to safety threats.
According to him, the gas stations located near the under-construction interchange at the intersection of Y. Monueva, A. Alimjanov, and A. Shakirov Streets pose a risk to citizens and contribute to traffic congestion. He pointed out that a potential explosion could harm hundreds of people living in nearby houses. The mayor added that the authorities would begin negotiations with the gas station owners and consider the possibility of their relocation.

The head of the city's capital construction department, Shumkarbek Paiziev, confirmed that the project for the two-level interchange did not foresee the demolition or relocation of gas stations.

The capital construction department of the city administration had previously announced a tender for the repair of a section of the street in municipal territorial administration No. 6 "Kurmanjan Datka" — from Monueva Street to Masalieva Street, as well as for the construction of a transport interchange at the intersection of Shakirov and Alimjanov Streets. The tender amount was 317 million 886 thousand 50 soms.

Two companies participated in the tender: LLC "Mega Trans" and LLC "Grand City." The first company, registered on July 23, 2013, is engaged in passenger transportation, while the second, registered on November 27, 2019, is involved in construction. The winner of the tender was "Grand City," which offered to complete the work for 269 million 79 thousand 946 soms.

It was previously reported that during the construction of the two-level transport interchange, 13 objects were slated for demolition.
