Deputy Dastan Bekeshev announced that graduates of orphanages are planned to be included in the program "Social Mortgage". He published this information on his Facebook page.

Igor Belyaev, a graduate of an orphanage, addressed Bekeshev with a question about housing for orphans, which prompted the deputy to send inquiries to the relevant government authorities.

From the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, the deputy received information about the introduction of a state children's deposit "Kelechekke salym" starting June 1, 2024, which will be automatically opened for every child left without parents.

"A response was also received from JSC 'State Mortgage Company', which is currently developing changes to include graduates of orphanages in the 'Social Mortgage' program as part of the 'Menin üýüm' initiative. Additional information will be provided after the necessary decisions are made," Bekeshev noted on social media.

The deputy emphasized that work on solving this problem is ongoing. He expressed confidence that the issue of providing housing for orphans requires a systematic approach and promised to monitor its progress.

It is worth noting that Igor Belyaev, director of the public fund "Right to Protect Orphans," once again raised the issue of the need to provide housing for graduates of orphanages. He pointed out that, despite existing legislative guarantees, it is extremely difficult in practice to obtain a free apartment, which is why he is advocating for preferential mortgages.
