

220 delegates representing various regions of the country attended the Kurultai. Among the key agenda items were the evaluation of the work of the previous composition of the Council of Ulema, the formation of the new composition, and the approval of the updated charter of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (DUMK), which was adapted to new legislation.
Representatives from the presidential administration, the state agency for religious affairs led by Azamat Yusupov, Mufti Abdulaziz Kary Zakirov, and other religious figures participated in the event.
