He congratulated all Muslims, the Kyrgyz people, and all of humanity on the beginning of the new Ramadan.
According to the Mufti, fasting reminds believers of the presence of Almighty Allah and awakens a sense of responsibility within them. It purifies the soul, adorns it, helps to cultivate humility, encourages good deeds, and strengthens piety.
“During fasting, Muslims should guard their eyes from the forbidden, their ears from the unlawful, and their tongues from lies. They should refrain from forbidden food and bad deeds, understanding that Allah sees and knows everything,” the address states.
Abduaziz Zakirov also reminded of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, which asserts that whoever fasts with sincere faith and hope for reward from Allah, and spends the night prayers and the Night of Decree in worship, receives forgiveness for their sins.
In conclusion, the Mufti wished for all those who observe the fast that their efforts be accepted.
