Due to the increase in cases where minors are left on the streets and in entertainment venues in the evening without adults, the authorities have decided to strengthen control over their presence in public places. Teenagers, among others, are asking for money using QR codes.
Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva noted at a meeting: “We value our cultural heritage; however, it is unacceptable for children to be alone on the streets at night. Establishments that allow children to engage in such activities will face fines.”
District state administrations have been instructed to organize joint raids involving juvenile inspection services and patrol police.
