During the holy month of Ramadan, Tarawih prayers are held in 122 mosques in the capital.
During the Tarawih prayers, police officers patrol the area of one of the largest mosques in Bishkek, which can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers. This was reported by the press service of the city's Department of Internal Affairs.
Special units have been deployed to ensure safety on the streets and in public places.
Traffic flow has been organized, and measures have been taken to prevent offenses.
All mosques in the capital are equipped with surveillance systems, allowing for round-the-clock monitoring of adjacent areas and internal premises.
The cameras provide continuous real-time recording, which helps monitor the movement of people, entrance groups, parking lots, and other places where citizens gather.
It is worth noting that there are 125 mosques in Bishkek, and Tarawih prayers are held in 122 of them during Ramadan.
Every evening, about 70,000 people participate in the worship services.
