The minister noted that this year, the quality of electricity supply during Ramadan will be significantly improved compared to the previous year. Daler Jumah pointed to the stable water level in the Nurek Reservoir, which creates conditions for greater electricity generation even on cold days.
As of today, the residents of the country receive electricity in the morning from 05:00 to 08:00 and in the evening from 17:00 to 21:00.
The minister also drew attention to the completion of the reconstruction of the Nurek and Kayrakkum hydroelectric power stations, which are now operating at increased capacity. In 2025, the modernization of the Kayrakkum HPP led to an increase in its output by 60 MW, resulting in a total of 174 MW.
Additionally, according to the Ministry of Energy, the third power unit of the Nurek HPP has been put into operation, which further increased its design capacity by 40 MW.
