Although flowers can be purchased individually, the wholesale price will be lower.
“We can sell even one flower, but the price decreases when buying in large quantities. For example, if you order 5,000 pieces, the price will be 70 soms per flower. We don't know how we will cope on March 7-8, as the flow of customers is huge: even in bad weather, more than a thousand people come daily,” note the organizers.
The main volumes of imports are carried out by air transport. In February, the main suppliers were Kenya, China, Ecuador, the Netherlands, and Colombia. The largest quantity consists of roses - 3.56 million pieces, which makes up a large share of the total imports. Also included in the import are carnations, orchids, chrysanthemums, and lilies.
Comparing statistics over the years, in 2025, flower imports increased by 61% compared to 2024, from 34.2 million pieces to 55.3 million pieces.
In 2025, the main suppliers of flowers to Kyrgyzstan were Ecuador, Kenya, and China. The famous Holland (Netherlands) ranked fourth in this rating, supplying more than 3 million flowers.
