Nevertheless, Bekeshev expressed doubt about this assertion, pointing to the mass appeals from farmers in the Naryn and Batken regions: "If these were isolated cases, I wouldn't raise the issue. But why are so many farmers complaining about livestock diseases?"
The Deputy Minister reiterated that there are no official data on the problem.
However, Bekeshev emphasized: "Either you are hiding it to avoid creating a stir. People need to know about the health of livestock, as they cannot buy meat from sick animals. This is a serious problem. I even prohibited my family from buying beef for the time being."
Additionally, Deputy Ismanali Joroev also reported an increase in cases of foot-and-mouth disease among animals, particularly in the Chui region.
