In Bishkek, it was announced that the opening of the northern side of the bridge on Jibek-Jolu Avenue has been postponed to the upcoming weekend. The reason for the change in schedule was unfavorable weather conditions, as reported by the city administration.
Initially, it was planned that the opening would take place on March 10 in the afternoon.
It is important to note that before the reconstruction, the width of the bridge was 9 meters. During the work carried out, the bridge was widened, and now the width of the northern part is 13 meters. The total width of the bridge has reached 34.3 meters, and its length is 25 meters.
According to the authorities, traffic will be organized on the northern side, and the opening of the southern side is scheduled for the end of March.
Currently, the relevant services continue to work on completing the reconstruction.
