According to the city hall, in Bishkek, due to changes in the weather, the northern side of the bridge on Jibek-Jolu Avenue will be put into operation this coming weekend.
Previously, the width of the bridge was 9 meters, but during reconstruction, it was expanded to 13 meters on the northern side. Now the total width of the bridge is 34.3 meters, and its length is 25 meters.
It should be noted that traffic will be organized on the northern part of the bridge, while the opening of the southern side is scheduled for the end of March.
Currently, the relevant services are continuing work to complete the reconstruction.
