The singer's ex-wife accused him of beating: the court assigned 40 hours of community service

The woman believes the punishment is insufficient

Urmataim, a 33-year-old resident of Kyzyl-Kiya in the Batken region, contacted the editorial office to share her story of years of domestic violence from her ex-husband, singer Bekbolot Yuldashev. She urges the public to pay attention to her situation.

The woman was married to Yuldashev for 14 years, and they have four children.

“In recent years, he raised his hand against me almost every week. I suffered a broken jaw, had cuts on my lips, and injuries to my ears. He beat me so badly that I became unrecognizable. He hit me with a belt and cords on my legs and other parts of my body. I endured all this for the sake of the children, hoping he would change,” she shares.

In the depths of winter, the man kicked her and the children out of the house along with his sister. On January 13, she first contacted the police, but investigator A. Toroniyazov from the Kyzyl-Kiya police department refused to initiate a criminal case, redirecting the materials to the public safety service.

On March 3, the Kyzyl-Kiya city court issued a ruling in the case. According to the court decision, on January 12, 2026, at 08:30, Bekbolot Yuldashev beat his wife.

During the hearing, the man admitted that he hit her out of jealousy. Urmataim requested the court to impose a sentence of arrest, but the court found him guilty under Article 70 of the Code of Offenses and assigned 40 hours of community service.

The woman claims that Judge Moyutova has family ties with her mother-in-law, and therefore believes that the punishment was too lenient.

Additionally, she reported that Yuldashev works as an inspector in the Kyzyl-Kiya tax service. In her opinion, a person who has committed violence should not hold a government position, and she demands his dismissal and accountability.

“He also performs as a singer, but in my view, a person with such behavior has no right to perform in front of the public,” she added.

Urmataim also requests a legal review of the actions of Judge Moyutova N.A., assuring that her decisions were biased due to personal connections.
