During the visit, the minister received information about the implementation of electronic management of medical data in the institution. This system allows for documentation management, monitoring prescriptions and medications, as well as coordinating the treatment process, which significantly simplifies doctors' access to necessary information about patients.
By visiting clinical departments, including the cardiology service and angiographic operating room, the minister observed how modern diagnostic and treatment procedures are conducted.
Particular attention was paid to the organ transplantation program. Since 2023, the hospital has begun implementing a kidney transplantation program with the participation of Turkish specialists. So far, kidney transplant surgeries have been performed on 16 patients who were selected for this procedure.
Preparation of patients for the next stage of surgeries continues at the medical institution.
During the discussion, plans for further development of the transplantation service were also considered, including patient selection and the organization of upcoming surgeries.
