Bishkek residents are concerned about the cutting down of poplars near the Ministry of Internal Affairs building. The agency responded

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on Jumabek Street, work was carried out for the sanitary pruning of trees that were in an emergency state near the Ministry of Internal Affairs building. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry.

Previously, local residents expressed concern in the media, noting that the process resembled not pruning but rather the felling of trees. Citizens voiced the opinion that the area might be prepared for parking.

In response to the wave of concern, the Ministry reported that they had already contacted the municipal enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy," as cases of dry branches falling had been recorded in the area, posing a threat to citizens' safety.

Subsequently, specialists from "Bishkekzelenstroy" conducted an inspection of the green spaces. During the inspection, it was found that a number of trees, including poplars, were in critical condition and posed a potential danger.

Thus, the workers of the municipal enterprise carried out sanitary pruning of the tree tops.
