The event was held at the Moscow RES base. The area transformed into an ethno-village with yurts set up, a festive parade of horse riders, and a traditional ritual "alas" (smudging with juniper) performed by Umai ene.
Among the participants were the akim of the Moscow District Niyazbek Kozyuev, the director of Chui PES Dokturbay uulu Zholdoshbek, and other leaders.
The main event of the day was the "Sarmerden" competition between two teams of energy workers:
- Team "Baichchekey": employees of the Kemin, Chui, Issyk-Ata, Kant, and Alamedin RES, as well as specialized departments of Chui PES.
- Team "Zhoogazyn": representatives of the Sokuluk, Moscow, Jayil, Panfilov RES, and the city of Kara-Balta.
The teams competed in theatrical performances of the rituals "Kyz uzatuu" (sending off the bride) and "Uylönüu toy" (wedding). Participants showcased their skills in akyn (song duels), tongue twisters, proverbs, oratory, and reciting excerpts from the epic "Manas." The program was complemented by sports competitions: tug-of-war, arm wrestling, and playing top-tash.
According to the jury's decision, the places were distributed as follows:
- 1st place: Team "Baichchekey" — awarded the main prize of 50,000 soms.
- 2nd place: Team "Zhoogazyn" — received a cash prize of 30,000 soms.
The winners of the sports games and distinguished participants were awarded honorary certificates and letters of appreciation.
