The girl was born on August 15, 2009, in the village of Sary-Bulun, located in the Tyup district. She recalls: “My childhood was filled with fresh air, vast fields, and the sounds of horse hooves.”
Now Aitunuk is in the 10th grade in Bishkek, dedicating most of her time to studying and training.
Her interest in horseback riding did not arise by chance. Since childhood, she has been inspired by the performances of the famous athlete Dastan Kachkynbaev, which led her into the world of equestrian sports. At the age of 13-14, she began to learn horseback riding on her own, despite the absence of family members connected to this tradition.
For several years, starting from the age of 13-14, she rode horses, mastered control, and participated in competitions. At 14, she decided to try her hand at ulak tartysh, despite opposition from her relatives, sometimes secretly leaving home under the pretext of just stepping out for a bit. Her passion for the game of ulak was so strong that she could not resist.
Although she does not yet have significant achievements, she believes that every practice session is a step towards success. She particularly remembers the moment when she first lifted the ulak — this memory still touches her.
In her free time, Aitunuk enjoys archery. She believes that this art develops hunting skills, accuracy, and patience. Although she also participates in kız kuumay, her love for ulak games is stronger. In her native village, she took part in kız kuumay 1-2 times, but thoughts of playing ulak occupy her more often.
Aitunuk started practicing archery quite recently and strives to achieve high results in it.
She says: “My main dream is to become a daughter that my parents will be proud of. I also want to become a rider in kok-boru and perfect my archery skills. My dreams are ambitious, and I am confident that my efforts should match them.”
