In the village of Voznesenovka, located in the Panfilov district of the Chuy region, Pushkin Street has been decorated with colorful balloons along its 1.2-kilometer length.

This was reported by 61-year-old Gülmara Saitova, a resident of the village and a single mother.

Pushkin Street is part of the Orto-Kayindin rural district.

“I have lived on this street for 22 years and I am the mother of four children, as well as the grandmother of 11 grandchildren. On our street, which is over a kilometer long, there are 125 households. For several years now, we have taken the initiative to decorate the entire street and our homes for the Nowruz holiday. This year, 10,500 soms were allocated for this, and for safety at night, we provide lighting,” Gülmara said.

This decoration not only improves the mood but also encourages residents to take care of cleanliness. This initiative is supported by the village government. Additionally, on this day, sümülek is prepared, and the holiday is accompanied by games and entertainment,” she added.

Nowruz is celebrated in all the rural districts of the region. The decoration prepared by the Kurama village government stands out, especially in the square of the Osmonov Memorial Complex, where yurts are set up among the decorated fir trees and festive events take place.
