Azamat Toktonaliev urged parents, schoolchildren, and students to be cautious
Azamat Toktonaliev, the head of the Bishkek Department of Internal Affairs, warned residents of the Oktobrskiy district about the risks associated with transferring or selling bank cards, which can have negative consequences for the youth.
He noted that law enforcement agencies are recording numerous cases where schoolchildren and students sell their cards for amounts ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 soms.
“Dear parents, before opening bank accounts for your children, it is important to remember: transferring or selling cards to third parties is considered a crime. Since the beginning of this year, 30 minors have already been held accountable,” Toktonaliev emphasized.
It should be noted that such actions are usually carried out by droppers and other criminals involved in fraudulent schemes.
