The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in the fight against illegal migration
President Sadyr Japarov has approved the law on the ratification of the agreement with the Belarusian government, which was signed on September 29, 2025, in Minsk.
This law was approved by the Jogorku Kenesh on March 5, 2026, and includes the necessary procedures for its implementation at the national level.
The purpose of the document is to simplify the processes of returning individuals who are illegally present in the territories of the parties, as well as to organize the transit of persons subject to deportation in accordance with international standards.
In addition, the agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the competent authorities of both countries and to conduct joint activities to combat illegal migration.
The law will come into effect ten days after its publication in official sources.
