The tourist-ecological police of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Issyk-Kul region received two modern motorboats.
On January 7, an official event took place in the Tyup district dedicated to the launching of the new boats, as reported by the press service of the regional police.
Major General of Police Murat Boronov, head of the regional internal affairs department, emphasized the importance of responsible use of this equipment by police officers who deal with tourism and environmental protection issues. Modern unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) were also handed over to each district unit.
The length of the new boats is 6.5 meters. They are made of durable aluminum and specially prepared for operation on internal waterways. These boats are equipped with modern radars, solar cameras, and sonar, significantly expanding their capabilities for navigation and monitoring.
The drones supplied to the region are designed to operate in challenging ecological conditions. With built-in sensors and thermal imagers, they can be used for searching for people, combating poaching, monitoring infrastructure, as well as conducting search and rescue operations and controlling forest fires.
The regional internal affairs department reminded that this equipment was provided as part of the implementation of President Sadyr Japarov's Decree No. 131 "On Urgent Measures for the Protection of the Ecology of Issyk-Kul".
The police are confident that the new boats and drones will help improve the ecological situation in the resort area of the lake, preserve unique natural resources, and enhance the effectiveness of the fight against illegal fishing.
