Famous Russian actor Igor Zolotovitsky has passed away

Igor Zolotovitsky, rector of the MKhAT school-studio, as well as an actor, teacher, and director, has passed away at the age of 64, reports Meduza.

Zolotovitsky, who began leading the MKhAT school-studio in 2013, also taught acting. He died in the hospital due to an oncological disease.

His filmography includes works such as "Non-professionals" (1985) by Sergey Bodrov Sr., "Dark Nights in Sochi" (1989) by Vasily Pichul, "Taxi Blues" (1990) by Pavel Lungin featuring Pyotr Mamonov, the comedy "Faster than Rabbits" (2013) with the participation of the theater "Quartet I," as well as roles in the series "Turkish March 2," "Kamenskaya 3," and "A Brief Course in a Happy Life."
