Toktakunov noted that this is the same man who initiated a fine of 10,000 soms imposed on a woman by the Sverdlovsk District Court. According to him, this man is also evading child support payments and has previously received 16 warnings from law enforcement for instances of psychological and physical violence.
Recall that on January 13, lawyer Toktakunov reported that Judge Zhanibek uulu of the Sverdlovsk District Court issued a ruling imposing a fine on a woman for slapping her ex-husband. According to the defense, the incident occurred against the backdrop of a long-standing conflict and systematic violence from the man.
The lawyer emphasized that the facts of violence are confirmed by 16 protection orders and a conviction from the Lenin District Court for "torture." He also added that the conflict occurred at the moment when an ambulance arrived, and the woman was in a state of severe stress due to her child's injury.
Toktakunov also announced his intention to appeal the decision of the Sverdlovsk District Court in the appellate instance, as the prosecution insisted that the episode involving the slap be considered separately from previous instances of violence.
