Films from Kyrgyzstan won awards at the international festival in Dhaka
At the XXIV International Festival in Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kyrgyz filmmakers were awarded prizes. This event is reported by the official website of the film forum.

In the Asian film competition, the award for Best Film went to "Kurak," created by Erke Jumakmatova and Emil Atageldiev. The film "Ot" by authors Dastan Madalbekov and Aizada Bekbalaeva was recognized for Best Screenplay.

In the category of films directed by women, the award for Best Direction went to Aizada Amangeldy for her work "Seventh Month."

Additionally, the project "Husband" by Aizada Bekbalaeva took second place in the screenplay laboratory "West Meets East."

The Dhaka International Festival is the largest film event in Bangladesh, held annually since 1992. It attracts audiences from around the world, showcasing a wide range of films from various genres, as well as organizing master classes and discussions featuring renowned actors and directors.
