Bekeshev: Business universities canceled on "nb," and they sharply increased contracts

At the session of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 21, deputy Dastan Bekeshev reported that higher educational institutions have started raising prices for contracts.

He noted that after the cancellation of the "nb" and the pass system in universities, the cost of education has significantly increased.

Bekeshev also added that educational institutions charge fees for each credit, which may negatively affect the accessibility of higher education. "Many students cannot afford to study in the context of constant price increases and additional fees," he emphasized, demanding that documents be provided on which universities base their income formation.
