The deputy proposes to ban the sale of alcohol in Kyrgyzstan during nighttime hours.

Marlen Mamataliyev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, proposed amendments to the Law on the State Monopoly on the Production, Import, Storage, and Sale of Ethyl Alcohol, as well as on the Regulation of Alcoholic Products. The draft law is already available for discussion on the parliament's website.

According to the proposed amendments, the sale of alcohol will be prohibited from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with the following exceptions:


Additionally, the draft law proposes a ban on the sale of alcoholic and low-alcohol tonic beverages in central squares, as well as in parks, squares, and recreational areas located within a radius of 100 meters from their borders.
