Kyrgyzstan entered the top five largest importers of Russian beer in 2025

According to information from RIA Novosti, in 2025, the volume of beer exports from Russia reached 103 million dollars, which is 19% more compared to the previous year, 2024. This was made possible by the supply of over 190 thousand tons of malt beer.

“According to preliminary data, in 2025, Russia completed beer export deliveries worth over 103 million dollars, which is a 19% increase compared to 2024,” reported experts from the federal center “Agroexport.”

The leaders in importing Russian beer were Belarus and Kazakhstan, accounting for 30% and 28% of the market, respectively. The top five also included China (10%), Kyrgyzstan (8%), and Tajikistan (3%).

In addition, there is a growth in the export of non-alcoholic beer, which in 2025 amounted to about 13 thousand tons and brought in nearly 8 million dollars. This is a 17% increase by weight and a 23% increase by value compared to 2024. The main importers of this type of beer are Belarus, Kazakhstan, Iran, the UAE, and Uzbekistan.
