According to prosecutors' data, 1,205 debtors have been declared wanted, for whom current enforcement proceedings have been suspended.
Over the past year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs received 1,124 cases to take action against those who systematically evade their obligations. The results of the work on these cases are as follows:
- 280 debtors were fined;
- 63 were assigned to perform community service;
- criminal cases were refused initiation in 244 instances;
- 18 cases were sent for revision;
- 143 cases were completed;
- 376 cases are under consideration.
In 2025, a total of 690 million 541 thousand 822 soms were collected for alimony obligations.
The General Prosecutor's Office states that efforts to hold debtors accountable continue, and evading alimony payments may result in legal consequences.
