In the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, more than 1,200 individuals who are evading alimony payments are currently wanted. The General Prosecutor's Office shared this information in response to a request from the Kabar agency.

According to prosecutors' data, 1,205 debtors have been declared wanted, for whom current enforcement proceedings have been suspended.

Over the past year, the Ministry of Internal Affairs received 1,124 cases to take action against those who systematically evade their obligations. The results of the work on these cases are as follows:


In 2025, a total of 690 million 541 thousand 822 soms were collected for alimony obligations.

The General Prosecutor's Office states that efforts to hold debtors accountable continue, and evading alimony payments may result in legal consequences.
