The specialist also reported that, on average, the cost of housing rose by 23.8% over the past year.
In January of last year, the average price of an apartment was 102,000 soms (approximately $1,170), while by December it had reached 126,300 soms ($1,440).
Kebekov noted that in the first quarter there was a stable price increase of 1.4%. However, in April this growth slowed to 0.6%, and in May it increased to 1.7%.
September was marked by a sharp increase in housing prices by 11.8%, which, according to the expert, is related to seasonal factors. In October, prices fell by 9.5%, but in December they showed an increase again of 18.4%.
The expert concluded that, despite fluctuations, there is a steady trend of rising prices.
