As of January 1, 2026, the new resolution comes into effect
A new resolution has been adopted that expands the list of workers in the theatrical and entertainment sphere entitled to a pension due to special working conditions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy.
This document was developed in accordance with the Law "On State Pension Social Insurance," and its aim is to enhance the level of social protection for cultural workers, taking into account the specifics of their professional activities.
The updated list includes ballet artists, performers of dance numbers in professional artistic collectives, as well as artists from mime and gesture theaters.
With the adoption of the new resolution, the previous government decision made on December 1, 1997, under number 694, has been rendered void.
