
As reported in a press release from the Volleyball Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the right to participate in this prestigious tournament was made possible due to the high ranking that the team has earned over the past two years. During this period, Kyrgyz volleyball players have twice become winners of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) tournament, which significantly strengthened their position on the international stage.
Currently, the women's national team of Kyrgyzstan is ranked 62nd in the world and 10th among Asian teams.
The 2026 Asian Nations Cup will bring together the 12 strongest national teams from the continent, including the seven best teams from the previous tournament and five selected based on their ranking.
This competition will take place in the Philippines from June 6 to June 14. In the first stage, teams will be divided into two groups, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the "Final Four." The remaining teams will compete for places from 5th to 12th.
