The Cabinet updated the regulations on minimum requirements for pawnshops in Kyrgyzstan

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a new regulation concerning the minimum requirements for pawnshops. This decision was signed by Adylbek Kasymaliev, as reported by the government press service.

The main goal of this regulation is to establish clear requirements for the operation of pawnshops. The normative act covers all legal entities that hold licenses for conducting pawnshop activities in the country.

According to the new requirements, the minimum charter capital for pawnshops will be as follows: Pawnshops are required to adapt their operations in accordance with the requirements of this document within six months.

The resolution comes into effect fifteen days after its official publication.
