
The President listened to the report of the head of the National Agency for Religious Affairs
On February 3, Monday, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held a meeting with Talantbek Tashibekov, the head of the National Agency for Religious Affairs, where he listened to his report.
This meeting was a significant event for the development of the state, as the commission transformed last year now has the status of a National Agency. This underscores the importance of issues of faith and interethnic harmony for the current government.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to plans for honoring outstanding figures in connection with the 30th anniversary of the institution. Japarov supported this initiative and proposed posthumously awarding the title of Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic to Chubak Jalilov, a well-known religious figure and preacher who remains a significant figure for believers in the country.
