At the meeting, Tashibekov presented his plans for the agency's work to the president and outlined priority areas in the religious and interethnic spheres. The president emphasized the importance of a balanced and delicate approach to issues of religion and interethnic relations, reminding that last year the commission was transformed into a National Agency, which significantly expanded its powers and capabilities.
Talantbek Tashibekov also informed about the upcoming anniversary event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the organization and asked the president to consider the possibility of awarding prominent religious figures with state honors.
In response, the president agreed with the proposal and suggested the idea of awarding the honorary title of "Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic" to Chubak Azhy Jalilov.
In conclusion of the meeting, Sadyr Japarov instructed Tashibekov to ensure transparent and systematic work of the National Agency, paying special attention to strengthening interfaith and interethnic harmony, as well as the principles of justice and unity.
