Tashibekov presented the president with the key areas of the agency's work, including the regulation of religious activities and the strengthening of interethnic ties.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized the importance of a responsible approach to religious and ethnic issues. He reminded that the commission was transformed into the National Agency last year, which granted new powers and improved the institutional work of the agency.
The head of the agency also reported on the preparations for events marking the 30th anniversary of the organization and asked the president to consider the possibility of awarding outstanding religious figures. Japarov supported this initiative and suggested posthumously awarding the title of "Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic" to Chubak Azhy Jalilov, a well-known religious figure.
