According to the new law, the National Bank will transfer 100% of its profit to the republican budget after an independent external auditor confirms the financial statements.
It was previously reported that the total amount planned for transfer could reach around 50 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance intends to use these funds to finance important social expenditures.
Starting from 2023, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic fully transfers its profit to the republican budget. In 2023, the transfer amount was 12.6 billion soms, and in 2024, it is expected to increase to 45.7 billion.
