President Sadyr Japarov signed the relevant decree, based on the Constitution and the Law "On Local State Administration and Local Self-Government Bodies".
At the same time, Almazbek Isakov was appointed as the new mayor.
Almazbek Isakov has extensive experience in municipal management and public service, having held various leadership positions in executive authorities, including in the areas of urban infrastructure and administration.
Azat Salmurбек uulu had been serving as mayor since October 2025.
