Deputy Mayor of the capital Ramiz Aliyev reported that according to the master plan, a major overhaul of 120 kilometers of road surface is planned, as well as the renovation of six bridges and three interchanges. In addition, as part of the program, public transport will be developed and 12 new streets will be opened.
First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev added that the updated project of the master plan for the capital includes new interchanges and overpasses. "A budget has been allocated for these purposes. The issues related to road infrastructure are being addressed by the city administration in collaboration with the government, as local funding may sometimes be insufficient," he noted.
