The European Union is ready to sign a new agreement on the digitalization of Kyrgyzstan

At a meeting with Deputy Minister of Finance Nurbek Akzholov, European Commission representative Charlotte Adrian announced the European Union's plans to support new initiatives for the modernization of Kyrgyzstan.

She noted, "We highly value the reforms being implemented in the country and are ready to sign a new agreement regarding digitalization."

Charlotte Adrian also confirmed that the European Union will continue to assist Kyrgyzstan in updating key sectors of the state economy.

In turn, Nurbek Akzholov expressed gratitude to European partners for their support in the areas of education, water resources, and digitalization, emphasizing that the Kyrgyz side is successfully fulfilling all obligations under joint projects. Currently, the finalization of a new financial agreement in the field of digitalization is underway.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to expand their cooperation and jointly launch effective social projects.
