Despite the disagreements, both sides expressed their willingness to continue diplomatic efforts aimed at finding ways to reduce military tensions emanating from Washington.
As noted by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, during the negotiations, he clarified to the American delegation that the country does not intend to stop uranium enrichment and does not plan to export the relevant technologies outside of Iran. Thus, this statement constituted a rejection of one of the main demands put forth by the US.
