The press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Askat Alagozov, shared details with the editorial office of VB.KG regarding the resignation of the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), Kamchybek Tashiev.
According to Alagozov, President Sadyr Japarov explained his decision as follows:
“I made this decision guided by the interests of our state, to prevent a split in society, including disagreements between state bodies, and, on the contrary, to strengthen unity,” the press secretary quoted the president's words.
