In his comment to the publication "Kabar," the president explained that Tashiev's resignation was a necessary measure to prevent a split in society.
According to Japarov, factions began to emerge in parliament, dividing deputies into the "general's side" and the "president's side," while some government officials were experiencing pressure from Tashiev's supporters.
The president noted: "If I had not taken urgent measures, it could have caused a rift among citizens. I called my friend, explained the situation to him, and informed him of my decision to relieve him of his duties before making a final decision. For me, the stability of the state is the most important thing," he added.
