Bahridin Shabazov, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

During the committee meeting on February 17, he repeatedly raised questions about the construction of the Bishkek - Kant road and the bridge in the village of Sary-Jon, but did not receive satisfactory answers from the ministry representatives.

Shabazov noted: "Is the information from the president not reaching you?"

In response, Deputy Minister Beknazar Bazaraliev stated that the bridge project has already been completed, and they are currently searching for a construction company.

He also added that work on the Bishkek - Kant road is planned for next year.

“This year, all efforts will be focused on the Northern and Eastern bypass roads. After their completion, we will move on to the construction of the Kant - Bishkek road,” Bazaraliev explained.

In response, Shabazov called for pothole repairs, as citizens are expressing dissatisfaction with the condition of the road.

The Deputy Minister also reported that this year the construction of an entrance to the village of Milyanfan is planned, and the Ministry of Finance is expected to approve the budget for capital investments in the coming days.

Shabazov continued: “As for the entrance to Milyanfan, we have fulfilled the task of formalizing the land plots. We searched for the owners for a long time, explaining to them that this is necessary for the village. They agreed to give up their lands. However, for the third year now, we have been facing delays on this issue. How can we explain this to the voters? We are just chasing the wind. The information about capital investments is also not accurate, as the budget has already been approved,” the deputy concluded.
