150 printers and 1,000 cartridges were handed over to hospitals in Kyrgyzstan
Today, Aibek Matkerimov, who holds the position of First Deputy Minister of Health, met with representatives of the German Development Bank (KfW) and the company GITEC-IGIP. According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, 150 printers and 1,000 cartridges were handed over during the meeting.

This equipment will be used for the digital accounting of medical equipment and will support the operation of the SAMEDIS inventory system, which is being implemented with financial assistance from Germany as part of the "Health V" program.

SAMEDIS is a specialized digital system for the inventory and accounting of medical equipment.



During the meeting, the implementation of the project was also discussed. Participants noted that training sessions for medical personnel have been completed, and medical institutions in Bishkek and the Chui region have successfully finished the main stage of inventory, moving on to regular data updates.

"In the future, the management of information quality and database maintenance will be transferred to the state enterprise 'Kyrgyzpharmacy', which will enhance the transparency and efficiency of resource management in the national healthcare system," the Ministry of Health added.
