According to the latest data from the National Intelligence Service of South Korea (NIS), Kim Jong Un has finally decided who will be his successor. The process of transferring power to his daughter Kim Ju Ae has already begun, as evidenced by her participation in state events.
She was previously being prepared for the role of heir, but now she is officially declared as the successor. She actively speaks on important political issues at public events. Experts are now focused on the upcoming congress of the Workers' Party of Korea at the end of February: Ju Ae's appearance at this event could further strengthen her political position.
Kim Ju Ae is the only officially recognized child in Kim Jong Un's family. The existence of the leader of North Korea's older son remains uncertain, as there has been no official information about him. Ju Ae's existence became known in 2013 when American basketball player Dennis Rodman visited Pyongyang and mentioned meeting "little Ju Ae."
