Akayev reported that he managed to review nearly ten problematic sites and areas where work had previously been carried out, some of which have dragged on for months.
“In one day, I visited almost ten sites, examining where surveillance cameras are installed and where they are not. We will complete all major projects that have been started. Work is already underway, but there are areas that have been abandoned. We are currently checking the availability of project documentation and the conditions of tenders. Everything must comply with the law,” he added.
The mayor also noted that it is necessary to accelerate the pace of work, especially with the approach of spring when the active phase of construction and landscaping begins.
“Spring is near, and some areas have been stagnant for up to seven months. This is unacceptable,” Akayev emphasized.
Commenting on the work of his predecessor, he noted that the previous leadership also had plans and initiatives, many of which require completion.
At the same time, the mayor reported that his new team is actively discussing the launch of additional urban initiatives.
“We are working on several new projects. The main thing is that each of them is legal and brings tangible results,” Akayev concluded.
The city hall plans to provide updated information after completing the analysis of all current and problematic sites.
