The Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, made an important statement about the need to free the agency from the influence of political parties and ideologies in a conversation with journalists from VB.KG.
He emphasized that the main goal of the reform is to ensure that professionalism becomes a priority that surpasses political loyalty. The committee plans to completely eliminate appointments based on regional principles.
The head of the GKNB noted: "The system is gradually moving away from a geographical approach to assessing competencies," adding that such an approach is the only way to create a full-fledged model of public administration.
